Dylan HOLLAND

At around 13 or 14 years old, I stumbled into what we now call ‘live-streaming'‘ on a site called BlogTV. I was just there playing my guitar, and singing covers. I had no idea that this one choice would shape the entire trajectory of my teenage years into adulthood. It led me to posting YouTube covers, catching the attention of Ryan Seacrest, and a contest that down the road turned me into somewhat the face of the first social media show/meet and greet concert, Teen Hoot, a pioneer before the DigiFest and Magcon era. Teen Hoot was my foundation, connecting me with thousands, and taking me all over the country over to the UK as well. At that time I was taken under the wing of and mentored by the Grammy-nominated songwriter/producer David Malloy. David was the man behind TeenHoot and i admired the fact he a played part in the careers of Janis Joplin, Fleetwood Mac, and Dolly Parton to name a few.

Throughout my career, I've toured with artists like Rae Sremmurd, Jacob Whitesides, Rome Ramirez of “Sublime With Rome,” Duddy from “The Dirty Heads,” T Wayne, Hinder, and many more. I've also written for, or alongside incredible talents such as Cierra Ramirez, members of The Jackson Family, Twayne, Ty Dolla $ign, Naughty By Nature… and a lot of other wildly talented people. I’ve even had songs featured on Netflix shows like “Love Is Blind.”

In 2020, the pandemic prompted a lengthy reflective period for me as well as most people I know.

Over the next few years, I lived life. I loved, been loved, I’ve lost, and I’ve been lost, and somehow ended up becoming a little bit better. I didn’t stop writing, though. I had more than 30, was stuck on 18, and finally, I chose my favorite 10 and began crafting an album. This album is not just for those who discovered me during the "All of Me EP" era; it's primarily for me. The songs are honest, some difficult to sing without struggling to get the words out. The album, titled "Family," is about halfway through recording/production, and I refuse to rush it. I want this to be a genuine expression and relatable, not just work. People have asked me, "What've you been up to, man?" and now, I'm catching you up on the last four mostly silent years through this album. The first single, the title track "Family," is on its way. Thank you for stopping by.
